WE RUN IT! DONAT IT is taking part in the 10th anniversary Firmenlauf in Ingolstadt
True to our company motto “WE CREATE IT | WE RUN IT | WE LOVE IT”, on Wednesday 8 July 2026 it was once again time for us to say: WE RUN IT! The Kaufland Firmenlauf Ingolstadt is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, and we at DONAT IT weren’t about to miss out on this sporting highlight in the region.
We lined up at the start with a strong team of 10 runners. Together, we rose to the challenge and proved that our IT prowess works just as well on the running track.
A great atmosphere at the new venue: the Tillywiese is buzzing
New for this year’s anniversary: the event venue moved to the Tillywiese in Klenzepark, as the event has grown enormously in recent years. The new location provided the perfect setting and plenty of space for the thousands of athletes from across the region.
Our 10 DONAT runners set off on the 5-kilometre course at 6.15 pm. In perfect running weather, they ran past the Danube, cheered on by countless spectators lining the route, heading towards the home straight. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying throughout the entire race and spurred each and every one of us on to achieve personal bests.
Team spirit and IT power on the slopes
In our day-to-day work, we know that the best solutions only come about through genuine teamwork. On the running route, it was precisely this team spirit that paid off. From experienced long-distance runners to motivated amateur joggers – nobody was left behind. Reaching the finish line together and motivating one another!
The reward for all that effort awaited us straight after crossing the finish line: at the after-run party on the Tillywiese, the DONAT team celebrated the end of the day. With cool drinks, good food and live music from the band Project xXx, we rounded off the evening in high spirits.
We are particularly proud that our sporting efforts are supporting a good cause. Through our participation, a portion of the entry fees was donated to the DKMS and to local charitable projects in the region.

We’d like to thank our runners for taking part in the Ingolstadt Company Run. A big round of applause goes to the organisers for this thoroughly successful anniversary event. We’ll be putting our running shoes away for now – but one thing’s for sure: after the run is before the run, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
