Our QMS has been successfully recertified to ISO 9001:2015
For us, quality is no accident, but the result of processes we put into practice. We are pleased to announce that our quality management system has successfully passed recertification in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
For our customers and partners, this seal is far more than just a certificate on the wall. It is an official commitment that we are constantly refining our working methods to deliver IT solutions of the highest standard.
What does ISO 9001:2015 mean for our working relationship?
ISO 9001:2015 is the globally recognised standard for quality management systems (QMS). Successful recertification confirms that DONAT IT has established transparent and efficient processes across all areas of the business – from software development and IT consulting to service support.
In practical terms, this means for our customers:
- Maximum reliability: Our processes are standardised and reproducible. This minimises the risk of errors and ensures that IT projects are delivered on time.
- Customer focus: The standard places customer satisfaction at the heart of everything we do. We listen carefully, analyse requirements precisely and adapt our services flexibly to meet your needs.
- Continuous improvement: Standing still is not an option for us. The ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ (PDCA) cycle set out in the ISO standard drives us to get a little better every day.
This successful recertification is down to the entire DONAT team. At our sites in Ingolstadt and Garching, our staff put this quality philosophy into practice every day – whether through agile project management using SCRUM or traditional service delivery based on ITIL.

Outlook: Ready for the future and the new ISO revision
The world of IT and technology is moving ever faster – and with it, quality standards. ISO 9001 is currently undergoing a comprehensive revision process. Although the final version of the new ISO 9001:2026 is not expected to be published until the second half of 2026, an initial official draft is already available.
Our quality management team is already monitoring these developments very closely. The upcoming revision is expected to place an even greater emphasis on issues such as sustainability, digitalisation and adapting to global change – aspects that already play a central role in our day-to-day work at DONAT IT.
