Partner companies 2025 – We are part of it!
DONAT IT is also a partner company of ‘Médecins Sans Frontières’ e.V. in 2025.
With a four-figure donation, we are supporting the organisation’s global emergency medical aid and fulfilling our social responsibility. In December 2023, we made a Christmas donation for the first time. In 2024, we decided in favour of a long-term cooperation with ‘Médecins Sans Frontières’. The aid organisation checked us in advance according to its donation guidelines.
‘Médecins Sans Frontières’ provides emergency medical aid in crisis and war zones worldwide: for example, for people in acute need as a result of the wars in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip, as well as following natural disasters. The international organisation helps quickly, efficiently and unbureaucratically – without asking about the origin, religion or political beliefs of those affected.
The teams of doctors, nurses, midwives and logistics staff are also active in less publicised crises – in more than 70 countries worldwide. In northern Nigeria, they are supporting children in the midst of a devastating food crisis. In Bangladesh, they have been supporting around one million people living in catastrophic conditions in the world’s largest refugee camp for years.
Background information on Médecins Sans Frontières
Médecins Sans Frontières was founded in Paris on 21 December 1971 and is the world’s largest independent and private organisation for emergency medical aid. Médecins Sans Frontières is committed to the humanitarian principles based on the international humanitarian law of the United Nations: Impartiality, independence and neutrality. The DZI donation seal has certified that the organisation has handled donations responsibly since 1998. In 1999, ‘Médecins Sans Frontières’ received the Nobel Peace Prize.
