Donau Classic 2025
At the weekend, from 17 to 19 July, Bavaria’s most beautiful classic car rally through our home region took place for the 20th time – a special anniversary that we didn’t want to miss. Our colleagues were able to apply in advance for the coveted places and were delighted to be taking part in the Donau Classic 2025.
Among others, we competed with a Mercedes Benz 230 SL Pagoda, an Audi V8, a VW Golf GTI, a Chevrolet Corvair, a Porsche 911 Carrera, a BMW 1800, a BMW 318i Cabrio and an Opel Rekord C Coupé. The route led through the most beautiful landscapes around the Ingolstadt automotive region – from the hilly Hallertau region to historic villages and the idyllic Altmühltal valley. The drivers passed the first drive-through check at DONAT IT’s front door. Each car received a gift from us in the form of a fruit bag with apples, glucose and fans to cool them down.
The race started early in the morning on both days. With a culinary offering ranging from breakfast and lunch to the final evening catering, our drivers were well-fuelled throughout the day.
We did our best, but the fun of riding and the shared experience were of course the main focus. This made it a successful DONAU CLASSIC weekend for all participants. This is because the DONAU CLASSIC also offers an excellent opportunity to participate as a tourist: those who did not just ride for time were able to enjoy the region at their own pace.
Our results
Our best teams even made it to 62nd and 69th place in the overall rankings this year – congratulations! With a total of 153 teams, that is a strong performance. But our other teams can also be proud of themselves and their performance.
We would like to thank the organising team of the DONAU CLASSIC for the successful implementation and are delighted to have been part of the 20th anniversary.
We were once again able to sponsor the event this year – and together with our driver teams, we turned it into the DONAT Classic for us.
