Sponsoring and participation in classic car rally

Last weekend, from June 27 to 29, Bavaria’s most beautiful classic car rally took place through our home region. And we were once again represented at the DONAU CLASSIC with several vehicles. Our colleagues were able to apply in advance for the coveted places and were then drawn by lot.

Among others, we started with two BMW E24 Coupés (built in 1985 and 1986), a Porsche 911 Carrera (built in 1984) and a Mercedes-Benz 280 S (built in 1975). We completed the rally with our vehicles, which leads through the most beautiful landscapes around the Ingolstadt automobile region. The route took our riders to Bad Gögging, Kipfenberg, Kinding, Kehlheim, Neumarkt and many other idyllic villages in glorious sunshine. They covered 229 kilometers on the first day of the rally. On the second day even 260 kilometers. The race started early in the morning on both days. The teams came together for lunch to fortify themselves for the journey in the afternoon. We did our best, but the fun of riding and the shared experience were of course the main focus. This made it a successful DONAU CLASSIC weekend for all participants.

Our best teams even made it to 35th and 42nd place in the overall rankings this year – congratulations! With a total of 86 teams, that really is a strong performance. But our other teams can also be proud of themselves and their performance.
